Q. What types of companies are best suited for a retainer arrangement?

Our retainer is best suited for IT and technology companies, startups, and pre-IPO companies that require frequent legal support and ongoing expert judgment in IT, AI, and digital matters. If your needs are primarily occasional and ad hoc, per-matter spot engagements are also available.

Q. How are retainer fees structured?

Fees are a monthly fixed amount, varying with expected response frequency and scope of work. We first discuss your current legal needs and then propose a structure. If you also want a tax retainer, that is priced separately from legal-only coverage. Large matters such as M&A or litigation fall outside the retainer and are quoted separately.

Q. We already have a retainer with another firm. Can I engage you specifically for IT and AI matters?

Yes — this is a common arrangement. Many clients use us as a specialist resource for IT, AI, and digital matters that their existing counsel cannot adequately cover. Spot engagements (without a retainer) are also available.

Q. Can I also receive accounting and tax support through the retainer?

Within the legal retainer, we flag and provide an initial analysis of issues with accounting or tax implications as they arise. Tax filings, monthly accounting, and tax opinion letters are separate engagements, handled under a tax retainer or on an individual basis. If you want ongoing support across both legal and tax, we will scope the work and propose an arrangement accordingly.

We respond to retainer clients promptly. Urgent matters such as complaints or regulatory investigations are treated as top priority.
